Villa Nicola is a modern house set in lovely gardens with swimming pool, it has been finished to a very high standard, very comfortably furnished and has the most amazing views across the mediterranean sea to Souda Bay and the Akrotiri penisnsular. Walking distance to the village of Plaka with 2 taverna's, 2 cafes, a traditional gyros grill and well stocked super market, Almyrida Beach is also close by, 10 minutes walk from the village Square. If you prefer to relax at home, dine al fresco in the balmy summer evenings with a meal cooked on the outdoor BBQ, watch the sunset over the sea and the lights of the Athens ferry sail by with a chilled glass of local krassi wine after a long hard day sunbathing and swimming by the pool.

Villa Nicola has been furnished with many modern appliances; the well equipped kitchen offers a built-in oven and microwave oven, a ceramic hob and a dishwasher. The washing machine is located in one of the bathrooms. The lounge is decorated with tastefully chosen palette of creams, beiges and splashes of crimson, and both lounges have TVs, DVD players and a stereo unit  for your entertainment. On the lower floor is a Pool Table. During the cooler evenings in the Winter months cosy up by the swivel, high tech italian log burning fireplace in the ground floor lounge while you enjoy the views above the Bay and landscape.

The pool area, surrounded by lawns and flower beds, provides the perfect area for sunbathing with breathtaking views across to Souda Bay. A refreshing breeze from the sea cools down this hillside area in the hot summer months and makes it even more comfortable to stay and spend the day outside.   

Accommodation

Lower floor: 1 double bedroom, lounge, pool table  From this floor there is direct access through a large patio door to the pool and garden area. Inside the house stairs lead to the upper floor. The lounge area has a large comfortable sofa in grey and a coffee table, TV and CD/DVD-player. A double bedroom and a shower room with a washing machine is set off the lounge. For your entertainment there is a pool table available.

Middle Floor: Open plan living room with kitchen and dining area,  1 shower room, and covered balcony. In the lounge there is a comfortable white leather L shaped sofa where you can enjoy the TV and home cinema system if you prefer an evening in,  or listening to music from the CD/DVD-Player. The modern log burning stove is the foal point of the room and provides warm, cosy eveings in the cooler months of the year. The kitchen is fully equipped with a built-in oven, ceramic hob, microwave, large fridge/freezer. There is also a dining table with 4 chairs but extra chairs are available if needed. 

First floor: 1 double bedroom, 1 bedroom with 2 big single beds, 1 full bathroom. The double bedroom has a double bed with a dark wood and white leather headboard, two matching bedside cabinets with reading lamps, and a wall mounted, flat screen TV for when you become bored of the breathraking sea view from the covered balcony, shared with the second bedroom. The double doors have electric shutters. The twin bedroom has a bedside cabinet with a reading lamp and a wall mounted, flat screen TV . The bathroom has a full-size bath with shower.

Outside: off road parking, lawn, swimming pool, flower beds, BBQ, terraces and balconies.

The village of Plaka has lovely shady mulberry trees under which the locals sit to watch the world go by whilst enjoying a delicious meal or an ice cold frappe. Plaka was one of the original village sets for the film 'Zorba the Greek' and it still has quaint whitewashed houses and narrow streets leading off from the square.

The lovely village of Almyrida is only 2 km away and is built around a pretty crescent shaped sandy beach, with a small fishing harbour at the eastern end. The beach is very shallow and safe, which is good news if you have children or are not a strong swimmer. Lining the beach are a selection of tavernas,  café/bars,  bakeries, a jewellery shop,  mini-markets, gift shops and an off-license. Also in Almyrida there is a water sports centre which rents out kayaks, windsurfers and catamarans.  For those of you looking for even more activity, the historic town of Chania is only 35 minutes away by car.

All prices shown are per Villa, per Week, in EUROS. Not per person!

These prices include a free Welcome Present and a free Copy of the Guide Book 'Apokoronas Local Explorer'. 

All services and the use of air conditioning and other equipment (as advertised) are included in the weekly rental rates shown on this web site. Children are most welcome in all our properties and we provide a free High Chair and Cot loan service but, we do ask that children are supervised at all times whilst around and in the swimming pool.

For information in resort, excursions, boattrips and other activities, please refer to the information book in the villa.
On request we will be happy to deliver a welcome basket to the villa at 40.00 € extra.
